Importance of CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship 2024

The CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship was launched by the government of Kerala to provide educational opportunities to the female students of the state. Under this scholarship, monetary help will be provided to the girl’s students so that they can continue their education without worrying about any financial problems. To be eligible under this scheme the annual income of the family should not be more than INR 5 lakhs. The financial assistance under the scholarship will directly be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries. Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant must be a female candidate.
• The candidate must belong to a minority community such as Muslim converted Christian and Latin catholic
• The applicant must have cleared the 12th class examination with at least 50% of the marks.
• The candidate must have studied in a government-aided institution.
• The annual family income should not exceed more than INR 8 lakh per annum.

Selection Process

• The candidate needs to fill out the application form before the last date.
• After filling out the form they have to take the printout of the form in attach all the important documents.
• The documents will be submitted to the head of the institution.
• The head of the institution will verify the documents of the candidate.
• After the successful verification, the head of the institution will approve the application through the scholarship portal.
• After the approval, the institute will return the documents of the candidate
• The documents will be inspected by the scholarship inspection team for the final submission
• After the whole process, the scholarship will be dispersed by the Directorate of Minority Welfare
