About GP Birla Scholarship 2024
GP Birla Scholarship has been started for the students. Under this program, deserving candidates will get monetary help every month to pursue their academics from the organization. A scholarship amount will be given for a one-year duration. The scholarship grant will continue for the next year on the basis of the satisfactory performance of the student. There are only 100 scholarships available. This program is especially for the students of West Bengal only. Selection of the students will be made by the expert panel on the basis of interviews.

Objective of GP Birla Scholarship
The main objective of the development of this scholarship is the availability of financial funds for the people who belong to the economically backward section of society and do not have proper financial funds to continue their education in different types of universities or institutes available in the West Bengal State. Students who have passed the class 12th board exams with at least 85% of marks or 90% of marks can apply for this prestigious scholarship but the family income of the applicant must be less than RS 3 lakh per year so that they can be helped accordingly. This scholarship will cover the tuition fees of the applicants of up to rupees 50000 and 7000 in the first year and will also be provided so that the students can easily buy books and materials. Students can effortlessly fill out the application form for the scholarship to continue their education for the UG degrees or other educational goals if they have any in West Bengal State.

- Should be an Indian citizen residing in West Bengal

GP Birla Scholarship 2024 FAqs
Meritorious students, male or female, from West Bengal, who have in the year 2023, passed the class XII examination and have secured 85% marks or more from WBCHSE or 90% or more from ISC/CBSE and whose family income is less than Rs. 3,00,000/- per year are eligible.
Scholarship amount, to be granted to a limited number of selected students, will be to cover Tuition Fees and Hostel Fees, [where applicable], subject to a ceiling of Rs. 50,000/- per student per year. Additional one-time payment of Rs. 7000/- towards the purchase of Books in 1st Year shall also be given.
The Scholarship will be granted to students for one year at a time and to be continued upon satisfactory performance by the Student in the preceding year, as evaluated by the Trust, up to the completion of the Course subject to a ceiling of 4 years, on a yearly basis.
