Objective Of Jamia Hamdard Scholarship
The fee concession of the candidates will be done on the basis of the pointers given below and then they can prepare themselves for admission:
- The fee concession will be applicable from the 2ndYear/Third Semester (after passing the first year/second-semester examination) and onwards based on the academic performance of students in a particular course. The eligible candidates must apply for the fee concession latest by 30th September of the academic session.
- 50% concession of Annual Tuition Fee up to 10% of the students in each course subject to merit cum-means. The criteria will be as under:
- i. 75% class attendance in the academic year for which fee concession is applied.
- ii. The student must have secured 90 % Marks (aggregate) or above in the examinations of the previous academic year and passed all the subjects on the first attempt.
- iii. The income of the parent of the student must not exceed Rs.4.5 Lakh per annum from all sources.
- iv. Students must produce a certificate of good performance as evidenced by the academic record. The certificate must be verified by the concerned Head of the Department and endorsed by the Dean of the School.
- 2.25% concession of Annual Tuition Fee up to 10% of the students in each course subject to meritcum-means. The criteria will be a sunder:
- i. 75% class attendance in the academic year for which fee concession is applied.
- ii. The student must have secured 80% Marks (aggregate) or above in the examinations of the previous academic year and passed all the subjects in the first attempt.
- iii. The income of the parent of the student must not exceed Rs.4.5 Lakh per annum from all sources.
- iv. Students must produce a certificate of good performance as evidenced by the academic record. The certificate must be verified by the concerned Head of the Department and endorsed by the Dean of the School.
- The competent authority may grant fee concession in exceptional cases as deemed fit, such as loss in a natural calamity, death of parents or of the single earning member of the family, etc.
- 50% concession of Annual Tuition Fee for two EWS students in each course subject to merit cum-means
