The Ministry of Minority Affairs has launched the MOMA Scholarship for students belonging to the minority community of India. Under this scholarship, a cash reward will be provided to the student so that they can continue their education without worrying about any financial problems. What Is MOMA Scholarship 2024?

The Ministry of Minority Affairs has launched the scholarship to benefit all of the students of the minority community, mainly the students who are not able to get higher education because they do not have better working conditions for their parents which in turn do not give them adequate financial funds. There are mainly Three Types of scholarships available for the students of the minority committee by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. All of these different types of scholarships benefit different types of students based on their level of education.

Types Of MOMA Scholarship

As mentioned above there are three types of scholarship present by the Ministry of Minority affairs namely:-

• Pre-Matric Scholarship– The pre-matric scholarship is only available for students who are not yet in classes 11th and 12th. All of the students below class XI and XII are allowed to apply for the pre-matric scholarship of the minority.
• Post-Matric Scholarship– The post-matric scholarship is available for the students of classes XI and XII. All the students of classes 11 and 12 who belong to minority communities can apply for the post-matric scholarship.
• Merit cum means scholarship for technical and professional courses– All of the students who have passed classes 11th and 12th and have taken admitted to professional or technical courses can apply for this scholarship.

Incentives Under The Scholarship

The following incentives are available for students who gain enrollment under the scholarship scheme of different types:-

For Pre Matric Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Separate eligibility criteria are given for different types of scholarship schemes present under the MOMA  scholarship:-

For Pre Matric Scholarship

• The applicant must be in any of the classes between the 1st to 10th
• He/She must have scored at least a minimum of 50% in the previous qualifying examination.
• The annual household income of the applicant must not exceed rupees 1,00,000.

Post Matric Scholarship

• The applicant must be studying in class 11th or 12th
• Students who have taken admitted into technical and vocational courses which are equivalent to higher secondary are eligible.
• Applicants who are pursuing Polytechnic courses are eligible to apply.
• He/She must have scored at least a minimum of 50% in the previous qualifying examination.
• The annual household income of the applicant must not exceed rupees 2,00,000.

For Professional and Technical Courses Scholarship

• The students who are taking admission to professional or technical courses in any of the universities or colleges can apply for the scheme
• He/She student must have scored at least a minimum of 50% in the previous qualifying examination.
• The annual household income of the applicant must not exceed rupees 2,50,000.

Registration Process Under MOMA Scholarship

• First, visit the National Scholarship Portal

• Click on the New Registration link present on the home page.

• Click on the “Continue” button after reading all the instructions.
• The application form will be displayed on your screen.
• The details are asked in the application form.
• Upload required documents
• Click on the submit button.
• An application id and password will be provided to you
• Login using your credentials
• The NSP Dashboard will get open.
• Select a Scholarship
• Fill the application form
• Upload required documents
• Click on submit

NSP Login (Fresh)

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the Fresh Login option.

• A login form will open on the screen.
• Enter the Login details like username and password.
• Now click on the Login option.

Login for School/ Institute

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.

MOMA Scholarship Renewal

• Now click on the Login option.
• The renewal application form will opne.

Renewal Login

• Go to the Official Web Page of the Scholarship.

• Now click on the renewal year of your choice.
• Enter the application id and password.

Update Mobile Number

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the New Registration option.
• A new page will open.
• Select the Apply for Renewal option.
• A new login form will appear on the screen.
• Now click on the Update Mobile Number option.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• Enter the details in the application form.
• Now click on the Verify and Continue.
• FOllow the further process and get your mobile number updated.

Change Mobile Number

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the Renewal Login option aling with the login year.
• Enter the details and get yourself logged in.
• Now click on the Change Mobile Number option.
• An otp will be sent to your registered mobile number.

• Enter the otp in the box.
• Now enter the new mobile number and click on the submit option.

Search Institute/School/ITI 

• Go to the Official Web Page of the Scholarship.
• The homepage of the website will appear.
• Click on the Search Institute/School/ITI option.

• A new page will open on the screen.
• Enter the details in the form.
• Now click on the Get Institution List.

Check Beneficiary List

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the New Registration option.
• A new page will open.
• Select the Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List option.

• Choose the Ministry, Application Type, Scheme, and other options.
• Now click on the Submit option
• The beneficiary list will open on the screen.

Know Your AISHE Code

• Go to the Official Web Page of the Scholarship.
• The homepage of the website will appear.
• Click on the Know Your AISHE Code option under the Services option.

• Select the Institution, State, District, and other options.
• Now click on the Submit option.

View Nodal Officer Details

• Go to the Official Web Page of the Scholarship.
• The homepage of the website will appear.
• Click on the Nodal officer Details option under the Services option.
• A new page will appear on the screen.

• Enter the details like ministry, State, District, and many more.
• Now click on the Submit option.

View Scheme Eligibility

• Go to the Official Web Page of the Scholarship.
• The homepage of the website will appear.
• Click on the Scheme Eligibility option under the Services option.
• A new page will appear on the screen.

• Enter the domicile state, course level, religion, caste/community, gender, etc.
• Now click on the check eligibility option.
• All The Eligible schemes will open on the screen.

Check Application Status

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Click on the Renewal/Fresh Login option along with the login details.
• Enter the login details and move forward.
• After that, you have to click on the application status option.
• Enter your application number.
• Enter the captcha code available.
• Now click on the track status option

View Dashboard

• Click on the Dashboard option from the main screen.

Download NSP App

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Click on the Get it on Google Play icon.
• The page to install the application will open.

• Click on the Install option and download it.

Track NSP Payment

• To know your payment, you have to open the official website of pfms.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen

• Now from the home page, click on the Track NSP Payment option.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• Enter the bank name and account number or NSP application ID.
• Now click on the search option.
• The NSP payment details will open on the screen.

Know Your Payment

• To know your payment, you have to open the official website of pfms.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen
• Now from the home page, click on the know your payments option.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• Enter the bank name and account number in the given boxes.
• Click on the send OTP on your registered mobile number option.
• Enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile number.
• Now click on the submit option.
• Your payment details will open on the screen

View Complaint Status

• Open the Official Website of the scholarship program.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Click on the Complaint Status option
• A new page will open on the form.

• Enter the application number in the form.
• Now enter the captcha code and click on the view status option.
• The complaint status will open on the screen.
