- Compulsory non-refundable fees including tuition fees as fixed by the fees/fixation rationalization committee of the State Government
Academic Allowance
The following academic allowances will be available to all of the candidates who are selected in this scholarship:-

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-
- The applicant must be a domicile of Puducherry
- The applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category
- The applicant must be studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary level i.e. Class 11 to PhD level
- The applicant must have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination from a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education
- The applicant must have an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the Puducherry Post Matric website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.

- You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.

- Enter your application ID and password.
- Click on the option called Submit.

Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for the scholarship program:-
- The scholarship will be payable for 10 months in an academic year.
- No scholarship will be awarded to the students who didn’t get promoted to the next class/level.
- Change in course of study will not be permitted.
- The tenure of the award is for two/three years depending upon the period of the postgraduate course and not for an extended period of study.
- The scholarship granted under the scheme will be renewed during the period of the first-year postgraduate course subject to good conduct and maintenance of prescribed attendance.
- The scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of an annual progress report to be granted by the administrative head of the University/Institution/College.
- The scholarship of a student will be canceled in case of discontinuation of studies due to personal reasons or in case of false information provided in the online application.
- The students domiciled in one State/UT but holding an SC certificate of another State/UT can avail of the scholarship in the State/UT from which the SC certificate was issued.
