Retention Scholarship for SC Girl Students 2024
The Retention Scholarship will be provided to the students belonging to the Scheduled Caste category and this scholarship is especially available for the girls’ students who are currently studying from Class 1 to 5th. The girls who are studying in Government institutions and also private institutions will be liable for this scholarship. You can apply for the scholarship by going to the national scholarship portal. This will be a very prestigious scholarship. This scholarship is available to all of the Girl Children wanting to continue their studies.

Retention Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
to apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple eligibility criteria given below:-
- The applicant must be a girl student
- The applicant must belong to the scheduled caste category
- She must be a permanent and legal resident of Puducherry
- The applicant must be studying in Class 1st to Class 5th at a recognized institution or school
- The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed Rupees 18000
Benefits Of Scholarship
The following benefits will be provided to the candidates in this scholarship:-
- The selected candidates will be provided Rupees 25 per month for 10 months in an academic year.
- Scholarship benefits will only be provided until the student is learning in the institution and is continuing her studies.
- The scholarship will be canceled for any misconduct.
- The scholarship will be given in three spells i.e. August, December, and March of the concerned year.
Documents Required
The following documents are required while applying for the scholarship:-
- Domicile certificate
- A passport size photograph
- Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degree, etc
- Caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
- Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians
Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for the scholarship:-
- The scholarship will be payable for 10 months in an academic year
- The Administrative Secretary is the competent authority to sanction the scholarship to the eligible students.
- The scholarship will be canceled for any misconduct on the part of the scholar.

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- Go to the National Scholarship Portal
- The homepage of the scholarship will open on your screen
- Now you have to register yourself
- Click on the option called New Registration
- A new page will open on your screen
- The guidelines will open on your screen
- You need to read the guidelines carefully
- Tick mark the declaration
- Click on Continue
- The registration form will open on your screen
- You need to successfully register yourself
- Now you need to log in using your credentials
- Now click on the scholarship name.
- Successfully fill up the application form
- Upload all of the documents
- Finally, submit your form
- take a printout of the duly filled application form
- You have to submit the hard copy of the application form to the Director Of Adidravidar Welfare with all of the application forms.
Retention Scholarship Renewal
- Go to the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, click on the login option.
- Now select the renewal login option along with the renewal year.
- Login form will open on the screen.
- Enter the login details like applicant ID and password.
- Now click on the login option.
- After that, the renewal form will open.
- Enter the renewal details in the application form.
- Submit related documents if any
- Now click on the submit option.
Update Mobile Number
- Go to the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, click on the login option.
- Now select the renewal login option along with the renewal year.
- Login form will open on the screen.
- Now click on the Update Mobile Number option.
- A new application form will open.
- Enter the details in the application form.
- Now click on the Verify and Continue option.
- Update the Latest Mobile Number in the applciation form.
Fresh Login
- Go to the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, click on the login option.
- Now select the Fresh login option along with the renewal year.
- The login form will open on the screen.
- Enter the login details like applicant ID and password.
- Now click on the login option.
View Beneficiary List
- Go to the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, click on the Registration option.
- Now select the Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List option.
- A new page will open on the screen.
- Enter the details in the application form and clcik on the submit option.
- The list of beneficiaries will open on the screen.
