About National Scholarship Scheme 2024

The National Scholarship Scheme is created by the Indian government in order to help the people who are coming from this section of society which is deprived. The deprived section of the society will be able to apply for scholarships and the financial assistance will help the students to continue their education. The students will be getting the motivation to continue their education if financial assistance is directly provided to their bank accounts. Importance of National Scholarship

• The National scholarships are created in order to provide financial assistance to the people who are coming from the economically backward section of society.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the National Scholarship Scheme:-

PG Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students for Professional Courses	Open for SC/ST category students they must be studying in the first year of a professional course at a postgraduate level during the current academic year they must be studying at a recognized institution
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)	Open for Indian students who are studying in India For SA Stream – They must be studying in Class 11 with at least 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) in Maths and Science subjects in Class 10 board examination. Application Procedure Under National Scholarship Scheme

To apply for the National Scholarship Scheme we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• First, go to the NSP Website.

• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called New Registration

• The instructions will be displayed on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• Click on the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details, etc.
• Enter the captcha code
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• Click on the option called Application Form
• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
• Click on “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• Click on “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.

Procedure to Apply for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarship scheme for SC students

• To apply you need to go to the official website of NSP
• From home page go to the new registration option
• Now, choose “Click here to Register for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students for AY 2022-23” link

• Read the detailed instructions and read the undertaking very carefully
• Tick the checkbox and choose the continue button
• Enter all of the details as required including name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details, etc.
• Enter the captcha code, click the “Register” option and you will receive your registration details via SMS
• You need to fill out the application form on the state portal after successfully registering with NSP.

Points to Remember

• Registration must be filled by the parents/guardian of students who are below the age of 18 years
• Students / Parents/guardians need to submit the following documents while applying:

  • If Aadhaar is not available, then a Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School

Know Your Payment-NSP

If you want to know your payment information at the national scholarship portal then you will have to follow the simple steps given below:-

• First, go to the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Know your payment

• A new page will be displayed on your screen.
• Now enter the following details-
  • Bank
  • Account no
  • Confirm account number
  • Verification code
• Click on the Search option.
• The information will be displayed on your screen.

Track NSP Payment Status Online

If you want to track your national scholarship portal payment status then you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• First, go to the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Track NSP payments

• Now enter the following details-
  • Bank
  • Account no
  • Confirm account number
  • Verification code
• Click on the option called Search.
• The information will be displayed on your screen.

National Scholarship Scheme School/ Institute Login

• First, go to the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Institute Login.
• A new login form will open on the screen.

• Enter the login details like username, password, nodal officer, and academic year.
• Now select the Login option.

Check  List of Applicants Processed for Scholarship

• First, go to the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Services.
• A drop-down list will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called List of Applicants processed for Scholarship
• A form will open where you have to provide details like State, District, Ministry, etc.

• Now click on the Submit option.
• The list of all the processed applications will open.

Get AISHE Code for Your Institute

• First, go to the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Services.
• A drop-down list will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Get AISHE Code for Your Institute.
• Now a Request Form for adding Institution will open.

• FIll the form and click on the Next option.
• Now follow the further process and get the code.

Check District Nodal Officer Details List

• First, go to the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called Services.
• A drop-down list will be displayed on your screen.
• Click on the option called District Nodal Officer Details List.

• A new page will open where you have to provide details like State, District, and Captcha Code.
• Now select the Submit option.

View NSP Dashboard

• Open the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage of teh website will open on the screen.
• Select the Dashboard option from the screen.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• The page will have all the details of the statistics of the portal.

 View Complaint Status

• Open the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the Complaint Status option from the screen.
• A new form will open on the screen.

• Enter Application/Institute ID/Mobile No(For Un-Registered Applicants/Institutes) and Captcha Code.
• Now click on the View Complaint Status option.

Update Mobile Number

• Open the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the Renewal Login option from the screen.
• A new form will open on the screen.
• Now click on the Update Mobile Number option.
• A new form will open on the screen.

• Enter the details in the form.
• Now click on the Verify and Continue options.
• Enter the new mobile number and click on the Update option.
• Your phone number will be updated.

Change Mobile Number

• Open the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Select the Fresh/Renewal Login option from the screen.
• A new form will open on the screen.
• Log in with the details in the application form.
• Now after the successful login, the Change Mobile Number option appears.

• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
• After that, the applicants can change their mobile numbers.

Download NSP App

• Open the Official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Click on the NSP App icon from the screen.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• Click on the Install option.
• The application will be downloaded to your device.
