Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-
- AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls
- This scholarship is available for the girls students pursuing the first year or second year (through lateral entry) of technical degree/diploma courses are eligible to apply for this scholarship. They must have an annual family income of INR 8 lakh from all sources. Also, up to two girls per family can avail of benefits under this scheme.
- AICTE-Saksham Scholarship Scheme
- This scholarship is meant to support specially-abled students with more than 40% disability. They must be admitted to the first year of a degree/diploma level course or the second year of a degree/diploma level course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE-approved institutions. Their annual family income must be less than INR 8 lakh from all sources.
- NEC Merit Scholarship for Students of NER
- Only students who are permanent residents of any North-Eastern States (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura) are eligible for this scholarship. They must have got admission in a diploma, degree, postgraduate, MPhil or PhD programme. Their annual family income must be less than INR 8 lakh from all sources. Also, they must fulfil the academic requirements for their respective course of study.
- The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme
- Open for students coming from economically weaker sections of society, this scholarship offers financial assistance for studies in Class 11, diploma, polytechnic or undergraduate degree programmes. The students are required to have passed the Class 10/12 examination (whichever applicable) with at least 60% marks. Their annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.
- Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme
- This scholarship is open for students studying in Class 11/Graduation/Diploma/BE/BTech/BDS/Vocational courses. Sportspersons and individuals helping others are also eligible to apply. They must fulfil the academic requirements for each level of study. Also, the annual family income of the candidates must be less than INR 5 lakh from all sources.
- Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Jammu and Kashmir
- This scholarship aims to offer financial support to ST category students who are residents of Jammu and Kashmir. They must be studying in Class 11 to the postdoctoral level. Their annual family income must not exceed INR 2 lakh from all sources.
- Post Matric Scholarships for SC Students, Punjab
- This scholarship supports the post-matric studies of SC category students who are residents of Punjab. They must be studying in Class 11 or above. They are required to have passed the matriculation, higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized university or board of secondary education. Their annual family income must not be more than INR 2.50 lakh from all sources.
- Post Matric Scholarships for OBC Students, Punjab
- OBC category students who are residents of Punjab are eligible for this scholarship. They must be studying in Class 11 and above. They are required to have passed the matriculation, higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized university or board of secondary education. Their annual family income must be less than INR 1 lakh from all sources.
- Vocational Education Fee Reimbursement, Maharashtra
- Under this scholarship, students who are domiciles of Maharashtra and belong to ST category are provided fee reimbursement for their vocational courses. They must be enrolled in vocational courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, Animal Husbandry, Vaastu Shastra, Dairy Development, MBA or MCA. Their annual family income must be more than INR 2.50 lakh from all sources.

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the Scholarships for Diploma website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
