Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must be an international student. 
• An applicant must be studying in the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
• An applicant must not be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
• The candidate must hold Indian citizenship and must be a current president of India. 
• The candidate must have applied for an undergraduate of postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney. 
• An applicant must not yet commence undergraduate or postgraduate coursework.

3x$40,000 per annum	Undergraduate degree of up to 4 years
10x$20,000 first-year scholarship	Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree
15x$10,000 first year scholarship	Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree

• The scholarship offers 28 scholarships that will be awarded annually.

Selection Process

• The selection of the candidate is based on the clearance of the eligibility criteria. 
• The student will be selected based on academic merit and personal statement essays from a student’s application for admission.
• The candidate must have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
• The nomination of the student will be done by a selection committee consisting of two academic nominees 
• These nominees will be made by the vice principal (external relations)
