Scholarship Ineligibility

The applicant following the following eligibility criteria will not be allowed to get the scholarship:-

• Students belonging to categories other than SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority and DW(Disabled).
•  SC, ST Students whose annual family income is more than Rs. Two Lakhs.
•  BC & EBC and Minority Rural area Students Whose annual family income is more than Rs. One Lakh Fifty Thousand.
•  BC & EBC and Minority Urban area Students Whose annual family income is more than Rs. Two Lakhs.
•  Disabled Welfare Students whose family income is more than Rupees One lakh.
•  All Students who are pursuing part-time courses, online courses & Correspondence courses.
•  Students who are admitted under Sponsored seats, Management Quota seats & Spot Admissions.
•  Students who applied for Stipend/Scholarship in any Scheme.
•  Students of BC, EBC and DW students studying the Courses offered by open universities, distant mode, category B seats in MBBS, BDS.
•  EBC students studying Intermediate or courses.
•  Students pursuing the same level of courses.

List of Courses

The following courses are eligible for the different types of scholarship opportunities presented by the Telangana government:-

• Group-I
  • Professional Courses (Degree and PG Courses in Medicine, Engineering, Technology, Management, Agriculture, Veterinary and Allied Sciences, Business Finance, Business administration and Computer Applications/ Science)
• Group-II
  • Other professional and technical graduate and PG including (M.Phil, PhD and post-doctoral research) level courses not covered in Group-I. All post-graduate, graduate-level diploma courses.
• Group-III
  • Degree courses(not covered in groups I & II)
• Group-IV
  • Intermediate
  • ITI/ITCs
  • Vocational courses (Intermediate level)
• Courses not eligible-
  •  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses
  •  Private Pilot license Courses.
  •  Courses at Pre-examination Training Centers of all India and State levels.
  •  Correspondence courses & One Year Certificate Courses.

Reasons For Rejection 

The scholarship can be rejected for the following reasons:-

• Incorrect caste information
• Incorrect income information
• Candidate not being a Bonafide student
• Incorrect course and year of study information
• If the candidate fails to submit a caste and income certificate
• If the student is absent
• And If the student is admitted under the management quota
• Recommendation not given by field officer
• Non-receiving of the renewal proposal
• Previous sanction verification for renewal
• Detained students
• Claiming a scholarship for the same level of course

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the different types of scholarships presented by the Telangana government:-

•  SC & ST Welfare Students whose annual Family income is Rs. Two Lakhs or below.
•  BC & EBC and Minority Welfare Students who belong to rural areas their family income should be Rs. One Lakh Fifty Thousand or below.
•  BC & EBC and Minority Welfare Students who belong to the Urban area’s family income should be Rs. Two Lakhs or below.
•  Disabled Welfare Students whose parental income is Rs. One lakh or below.
•  EBC students who are selected Under Corporate College Admissions Scheme are Eligible for Intermediate courses.
•  Students whose attendance is 75% at the end of each quarter & Promoted to the next academic year for Renewal Students.

File A Complaint

To file a complaint you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• You have to click on the option called Grievance
• Now click the “New Grievance Registration” option from the new page

• Enter the details such as Application ID, applicant name, mobile number, email id, H. NO., Landmark, PIN, grievance type, etc
• Fill out the application and enter the captcha code 
• Click on submit to submit the form.

TS ePass Scholarship Grievance Status
