Vidyasiri Scholarship is now active. The Government of Karnataka has launched a scholarship for the students of Karnataka state. This scholarship will help the student by providing financial assistance to the meritorious Student Of the states so that they can continue their education at higher level. All the students who want to pursue their education in various courses can apply for this scholarship before the last date. All the students who cleared the eligibility criteria can apply for this scholarship by visiting the official website. All the permanent students of the Kerala state can easily apply for the Vidyasiri Scholarship 2024.

About Vidyasiri Scholarship 2024

The Government of Karnataka state has created a new scholarship scheme available for people who want to get financial assistance in order to continue their education. This scholarship is especially available from the Department of Backward Classes Welfare Government of Karnataka. Meritorious students belonging to the backward categories are welcome to apply for the Vidyasiri Scholarship scheme in order to help them continue their education. Application form submission for the scholarship program has started. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka state to apply for this scholarship.

Vidyasiri Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

• The applicant should be an Indian citizen and should be a domicile of the Karnataka state.
• He/ she should have studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years.
• The candidate should belong to the backward class category and should attach a valid caste certificate as proof.
• The applicant should have completed his/ her graduate/ postgraduate/ professional/ professional postgraduate degree by 2019.
• He/ she should belong to a reserved class such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ EBC.
• The students should have scored at least 90% marks in the last qualifying examination from any government-recognized board.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 75% attendance in college for the scholarship fund to be credited.
• The candidates should have linked an Aadhar card to the bank account as the scholarship amount is credited directly to the bank account.
• The annual family income of the applicants under the Prakash scheme (SC/ ST) should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
• The annual family income of the candidates under the 2A, 3A, and 3B schemes (OBC/ EBC) should not exceed INR 1,00,000 from all sources.

Note: All the applicants must get their bank account linked with the Aadhar card (compulsory)

Rewards Details

The following rewards will be provided in this scholarship:-

• 1000 scholarships are offered for students under the SSLC category.
• 500 scholarships are offered for students under the Class 12 category.
• Separate 500 scholarships are provided to candidates pursuing Graduation/ Postgraduation (General courses).
• 500 scholarships are provided to candidates pursuing Professional graduate degrees/ Professional postgraduate degrees (Technical, Medical, and other related science).
• SSLC candidates receive a scholarship amount of INR 10,100.
• Class 12 candidates receive a scholarship amount of INR 15,000.
• Candidates pursuing graduation degrees receive a scholarship grant of INR 20,000.
• Candidates pursuing a postgraduation course receive a scholarship amount of INR 25,000.
• Pratibha Puraskar Scholarship scheme directly deposits the scholarship amount to the bank account of the selected candidate.

Vidyasiri Scholarship Documents Required

The following documents are required to submit for this scholarship:-

• SSLC Hall Ticket Number
• Aadhaar Card or EID Number
• Caste Certificate issued by Tahsildar or Sub Tahsildar
• Income Certificate
• School and College issued Transfer certificate (TC)
• Scan copy of bank passbook linked with Aadhar.
• Passport size color photograph

Vidyasiri Scholarship Application Procedure

To apply for the scholarship you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• Click on the link given here to go to the Vidyasiri web page of the scholarship.

• Scroll down and go to the student zone
• The three types of scholarships will open on your screen.
• You will have to apply for the scholarship of your choice
• Click on the option called Apply Online

• The SSP Scholarship Portal will open on the screen.
• Register yourself on the portal if you are not registered already.
• Or login by the details if you are already registered on the portal.
• Now select the vidyasiri scholarship from the scholarship list.
• The application form will open on your screen
• You will have to fill up the application form
• Enter all of the details
• Upload all of the documents
• Go through all of the details
• Successfully, submit the form
• Take a printout of the duly filled form
• You have to send the printout of the duly filled form to your concerned district officer.

To check your application status you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• Click on the link given here to go to the official web page of the scholarship
• You have to click on the Student Service button
• A drop-down menu will open on your screen
• Click on the Application Status option
• A new page will open on your screen.

• Enter all of your details
• Enter the captcha code
• Click on Get Status
• The application status will open on your screen.

Print Application / Acknowledgement

• Open the Official Website of BCWD Karnataka.
• The homepage of the website will open.
• Select the Student Services option.
• Now select the Know Your Application Number.
• The form to Print Application / Acknowledgement will open.

• Enter the information on the application form.
• Now click on the Get Scholarship Details option.

View Report

• Open the Official Website of BCWD Karnataka.
• The homepage of the website will open.
• Select the Report option from the home screen.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• Select the total applied from PMS Online option.
• Now click on the Get Report option.
• The details will open on the screen.

Submit Grievance

• Click on the link given here to go to the official web page of the scholarship.
• The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
• Now you have to select the Grievance icon present on the home screen.
• A new website will open on the screen called IGPRS Karnataka.

• From the homepage of this website, you have to click on the login option.
• A popup window will open on the screen where you have to enter your login details if you are already registered.

• If you are not registered already then you have to click on new user registration.
• After that, you can easily submit your grievance there.
