Objective Of Wellcome DBT Early Career Fellowship
The objective of the India alliance behind starting this fellowship program is to support the doctoral degree holders in pursuing research in the field of biomedical. The organization is going to provide financial support to the candidates who get selected for the research for a period of 5 years.
Benefits Of Wellcome DBT Early Career Fellowship
The duration of the fellowship program is 5 years. During the fellowship, beneficiaries will get the following benefits while conducting research in the field of science
- Salary will be given up to 10.3 lakh rupees per annum
- Work outside the institute-Up for 24 Months ($3000/month subsistence in addition to personal support)
- Travel allowance 1.5 Lakh per annum
- Contingency INR 2.5 lakh
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be a Ph.D. degree holder or final year student of a Ph.D. degree in the Science field
- Applicant must not hold more than four years of post-doctoral research experience
- The applicant must have to choose a non for profit Indian host institution
- Applicant must be aspiring to pursue an independent research career in India
