Aikyashree Scholarship 2024: Apply Online, Renewal and Check Last Date

Aikyashree Scholarship 2024 was launched by the government of West Bengal State. The West Bengal State Government along with the West Bengal Minority Development & Finance Corporation department launched the Aikyashree Scholarship 2024. Under this scholarship, all the students who belong to the minorities in the West Bengal State will be given financial assistance. This financial assistance will help them to continue their education and pursue quality education along with the majority category students. All the Students who clear the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form to apply for the Aikyashree scholarship. Overview of Aikyashree Scholarship

To help children who are financially unstable complete their educations the government of West Bengal State launched the Aikyashree scholarship. All the students who belong to the minority section in the West Bengal State are eligible to apply for the Aikyashree scholarship. This scholarship will help them to continue their education without worrying about financial troubles. Students who belong to Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, Muslim, Parsi & Christian are eligible to apply for the scholarship online. Objective of Aikyashree Scholarship 

The main objective of launching the acquisition is scholarship is to provide financial assistance to financially backward students. Aikyashree Scholarship is specially launched for minorities in the West Bengal State. This scholarship will help to reduce the dropout rate among minorities and increase the education rate of the West Bengal State. The Aikyashree scholarship is a great opportunity for all the minorities students to pursue higher education without worrying about financial problems.  All the students who passed the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form before the last date of 15th December 2023.

Reward Details of Aikyashree Scholarship

West Bengal Pre- matric Scholarship	Students of Class 9 and Class 10 can apply for this scholarship program. Beneficiaries will be liable for scholarship amounts ranging from Rs. 150 to Rs. 750 per month. Besides the scholarship amount, the selected students get an additional Ad hoc Reward of up to Rs. 1000 per year.
West Bengal Post-matric Scholarship	Students of Class 11, Class 12, Graduation, and Post-graduation can apply for this scholarship program. The main advantage will be given to SC, ST, and OBC students studying in post matriculation or post-secondary level. Beneficiaries will be liable for scholarship amounts ranging from Rs. 160 to Rs. 1200 per month.
Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal	This scholarship is intended for female students. The main advantage will be given to students who have qualified for class 12th from any board in West Bengal. The main beneficiaries will be Female students seeking an undergraduate degree course in Basic Science/ Engineering/Medicine at any institute of West Bengal who can apply for this scholarship program. Beneficiaries will be liable for Rs. 3000 per month. Besides the scholarship amount, the student will also get a yearly book grant of Rs. 2000.
Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM)	This is a  merit-cum-means based scholarship. Students from Class 11 to Ph.D. level candidates can apply for this scholarship program. Beneficiaries will be liable for Rs. 8000 per month depending on the level of education or program. The distribution of this scholarship fund is mainly based on the student’s academic advantage and financial need.
Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal	The main advantage will be given to students studying the Hindi language in Non-Hindi speaking states like West Bengal. Students studying in higher secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level courses (M.Phil., Ph.D. or M.Lit. etc.) can apply for this scholarship. Beneficiaries will be liable for scholarship amounts ranging from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

For West Bengal Pre-matric Scholarship (SC/ST Students)-

• The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of West Bengal State.
• The applicant must be a student studying in class 9th or class 10th
• The student must belong to SC or ST caste.
• The annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.

For West Bengal Post-matric Scholarship-

• The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of West Bengal State.
• The applicant must be a student studying in Class 11, 12, Graduation or Post Graduation.
• The student must belong to the SC, ST or OBC category.
• The annual family income of the student should not exceed-
  • Rs. 1 lakh for OBC
  • Rs. 2 Lakh for SC

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal-

• The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of West Bengal State.
• The applicant must have passed class 12th.
• The student must belong to the SC, ST or OBC category.
• Only female students can apply for this scheme.
• The student must be studying Engineering, Medicine or Basic Science at a known institution in West Bengal.

For Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM)-

• The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of West Bengal State.
• The applicant must be a student studying in Class 11 or 12.
• The student must be pursuing graduation in Engineering, Medical, and Technical/Professional courses if they are not studying the general Undergraduate or Postgraduate level degree courses.
• If the student is studying at the higher secondary level or pursuing a diploma, he or she must have secured at least 75% marks in class 10th.
• The annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Scholarships will be provided on a merit basis.
• Students pursuing M.Phil. courses and Doctoral courses from state-aided institutions are also eligible.

For Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal-

• The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of West Bengal State.
• He/ She must have passed any one of the following degree courses – Madhyamik, higher secondary, graduation, PG, or any equivalent degree course
• The applicant must belong to a non-Hindi-speaking state.
• The student must have secured at least 60% marks in the earlier qualifying exam, in the first trial, with Hindi as one of the subjects.

Selection Process

• The students will selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria. 
• Only the students of the minorities will be selected for the Aikyashree scholarship.
• The students who are permanent citizens of the West Bengal states are selected for the Aikyashree scholarship.
• To get selected for the Aikyashree scholarship the student must fill out the application form before the last date.

Do Aikyashree Scholarship Registration

• You have to now click on the option called students area.

• You have to now click on fresh registration and the registration form will open on your screen 

• Enter all your information that is asked and click on submit.
