The University of Al Qasimia provides scholarships to students who are currently pursuing Arabic courses in the university or who have been admission to Arabic language courses. Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria presented by the university in order to apply for the scholarship. This scholarship will be highly beneficial to people who come from an International background but they do not have the resources to complete their education or to pay the fees regarding housing. Benefits Of Al Qasimia University Scholarship 2023
- The scholarship covers all the costs – tuition fee, cost of books, food, accommodation, hostel expenses as well as a personal stipend.
- When you join just for the Arabic language center you will get a Dh1,000 stipend.
- As soon as you join the programme, you will get up to Dh1,500.
- The university also provides a lot of programmes and activities for students.
- After completing 50 percent of your courses, you also get a ticket to your home country and then once you have graduated, you will again get a ticket, to travel back home
Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship program is only limited to international students (those accepted from outside the UAE).
- Only international students shall receive a monthly stipend determined by the university.
- The monthly stipend is given during the Summer Semester only to enrolled international students. Enrollment for the Summer Semester is optional.
- Students on scholarship are entitled to one ticket (round trip) after completing 50% of the total credit hours of their specialization and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 throughout the study period.
- The university is responsible for all expenses related to student residence visas and Emirates ID cards ID.
- The university provides health insurance for international students only.
- The university provides accommodation for students.
- The university only provides on-campus transportation.
- If international students do not arrive on time to the UAE after being accepted as a student in the university, their visa shall be cancelled.
- Students are granted return tickets to their countries of origin after their graduation.

Terms And Conditions
- Scholarship students must be registered in courses every semester and should not withdraw from them.
- Scholarship students’ cumulative GPA should be at least 2.00 (70%).
- If their cumulative GPA is below 2.00 (70%), the university shall review the provision of the scholarship.
- Scholarship students should be dedicated towards studying. They are not allowed to work during their study period at the university. If a student violates this condition, his or her scholarship will be terminated.
- Scholarship students must successfully complete the Intensive Arabic Language Program within a maximum period of one academic year. If they fail to do so, the university shall review the provision of the scholarship.
- Students must follow the university rules.
- Students are not allowed to leave or withdraw from the university or leave the country without prior permission.
Required Documents
- The original secondary certificate.
- The original transcripts for the secondary stage grades (tenth – eleventh – twelfth).
- Endorsement of all the required certificates from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of issuance and the UAE Embassy in that country. In case the UAE has no Embassy in a country, certificates are to be endorsed by any Arab country embassy in this country.
- Legal translation of non-Emirati certificates into Arabic or English language and endorsing them from the abovementioned parties.
- Submission of what states that the Ministry of Education in the country of issuance acknowledges the institute or school awarding the certificate and that their graduates can join the public Universities therein.
- Translation of the passport into the Arabic language and endorsement of the translated copy from both the Ministry of Education of the student’s own country and the UAE Embassy therein.
- A full completed application form.
- A copy of the student’s passport is valid for not less than one year.
- 12 modern, colorful personal photos measuring (3×4) with a white background.
- A copy of a valid certificate of good conduct and behavior with a legal translation for its content into Arabic or English.
- A copy of (the birth certificate) or whatlike, with a legal translation for its content in case the data is not written in Arabic or English.
- Health Fitness Certificate issued by a government hospital in the student’s own country stating that he is free from all infectious diseases, and is endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of issuance.
