About IIT Roorkee

IIT Roorkee was established in the year 1847 but it was known as the Thomason College of Civil Engineering. The college was later renamed as IIT Roorkee in the year 2001 and it was situated in Roorkee Uttarakhand. Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must have secured minimum CGPA criteria as follows –
  • CGPA > 7.5 for IITs/IISc
  • CGPA > 8.0 for NITs/ IISERs/ NISER/IIEST/UM-DAECBS
  • CGPA > 8.5 for students of other institutes

Benefits of the Program

• You have to click on the option called Apply

• A new page will open on your screen and you have to click on the option called Sign Up in order to register yourself.
• You have to fill out the registration form and you will be able to successfully apply for this internship program. 

Terms And Conditions 

The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions in order to successfully apply for the scholarship:

• The submission of applications for the IIT Roorkee Summer Internship Program 2023 is exclusively online.
• Applicants must provide the names of five faculty members they prefer to work with from a list of faculty members who are willing to host a summer intern.
• The institute will issue a temporary ID to all selected interns, allowing them to use various facilities such as the library, sports amenities, medical facilities, computer center, internet, and other research and recreational facilities.
• The applicants must comply with the institute’s regulations on conduct; if they fail to do so, their internship will terminate, and they will require to leave.
