Objective Of Jammu and Kashmir NMMS
The major objective of the government behind Jammu and Kashmir NMMS is to select the meritorious students who belong to the financially weaker section of the state to provide them help in completing their education and encouraging them for studies.
Benefits Of Jammu and Kashmir NMMS
Students who get selected for the scholarship program will get a scholarship amount of rupees 12000 per year. The amount will be given for pursuing the studies of the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th standards. A total scholarship of INR 48000 will be given in the preceding four years.

Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants should be Indian citizens residing in Jammu and Kashmir
- He/She must have passed the 7th standard examination with at least 50% marks
- Aspirants must have taken admitted in 8th standard in a recognized school by the state or central board
- The annual income of the student’s family should not be more than INR 1.5 lakh
