About Joseph Mundassery Scholarship 2023
A new scholarship has been created by the Department of Minority Welfare Government of Kerala to provide educational opportunities among minority communities students such as Christians, Buddhists, Jain, Sikhs, Muslims, and Parsi. Under this scheme, the economically weaker section people will be able to continue their education at SSLC, Plus 2, and Vocational Higher Secondary Education. Objective Of Joseph Mundassery Scholarship
As we all know there are many minority communities people who due to lack of financial funds are not able to continue their higher education. And their dream of pursuing education remains incomplete. By keeping this in mind the department of minority communities has created a new scheme known as Joseph Mundassery Scholarship. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the student for further education at SSLC, Plus 2, and VHSE Level. The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide educational opportunities to children so that they would be able to continue their education without thinking about any financial hurdles.

Rewards Under Joseph Mundassery Scholarship
The following rewards will be provided to the selected students under Joseph Mundassery Scholarship
- The students under SSLC with A+ great will be rewarded with Rs. 10,000
- The undergraduate students with 80% of marks will get Rs. 15,000
- The postgraduate student with 75% of marks will get Rs. 15,000
Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria are needed to avail of the benefit under this Scholarship
- An applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala
- He or she must have a bank account in their name at any nationalized bank
- The candidate must belong to a minority community such as Christian Buddhist Jain Sikh Muslim and Parsi
- An applicant must be from below poverty line families
- The candidate must be pursuing in any government or government-aided school or institution
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed more than Rs. 8 lahks per annum from all the sources
