The major goal of this plan is to provide financial assistance to girls who want to pursue higher education and to motivate them to do so. The state government intends to provide educational opportunities to girls from the state’s minority populations, who are now deprived of basic education, and to continue to raise the female literacy rate in Rajasthan. The government has decided to provide free scooty to deserving female students for higher education. The government also provides an option of receiving a cash payment of rupees 40,000 in place of a scooty to assist economically disadvantaged female students to pursue their studies.

- The Rajasthan government has introduced the Kalibai Bhil Medhavi Chhatra Yojana.
- All of the beneficiaries will receive a scooty, as well as registration for female students, five-year insurance, two liters of gasoline, and helmets.
- In the year 2020-21, a total objective of 10,050 scooty distribution has been established under the Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Chatra Scooty Yojana 2022, on which roughly 60 crore rupees would be spent.
- The government also provides an option of receiving a cash payment of rupees 40,000 in place of a scooty for economically disadvantaged female students
- Due to the Panchayati Raj election code of conduct, scooty distribution is not taking place in the remaining 27 districts, except for Bharatpur, Dausa, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur, and Sirohi.
- After clearing the 12th grade, the beneficiary will be required to enroll in any graduate program.
- Every year, about 10,000 girls benefit from this program.
- There should be no delay between the applicant’s entrance in class 12th and graduation to take advantage of this plan.
- For the next five years from the date of registration, the scooty that will be handed to the beneficiary under this scheme cannot be sold or acquired.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who want to apply for the Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Chatra Scooty Yojana must fulfill the eligibility criteria put forward by the Government of Rajasthan. The eligibility criteria for Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Chatra Scooty Yojana 2022 are as follows
- The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan permanently.
- This scheme is only available to SC, ST, OBC, and other minority groups, as well as economically disadvantaged female students in general.
- The applicant’s family annual income should be less than 2.5 lakh rupees.
- Girls who have received a minimum of 65% in 12th class from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or a minimum of 75% in 12th class from the Central Board of Secondary Education, from any Rajasthan school.
- The parents of the applicant should not be taxpayers.
- After clearing the 12th grade, the beneficiary is required to enroll in a graduate program.
- If there is a delay between passing class XII and enrolling in graduate school, the girl will not be eligible for this scheme.
- Girls who have received scooty benefits under any state government plan based on their grades in any class before the commencement of the scheme will not be eligible to receive scooty under this scheme. However, in the past, if a girl child received society based on her 10th-grade performance from the TAD Department, School Education Department.
