What is the location for updating Aadhaar for NSP Biometric Authentication?
A text message to verify their application for the national scholarship portal has been sent to the phone number of the applicants. All the students need to finalize their NSP biometric authentication procedure for their scholarship application before the last date of 20th August 2023. The authentication will be conducted in the respective Institute Camps organized by CSC in the presence of HoI / INO. Common Service Center (CSC). These organizations has been authorized to perform biometric authentication as per the decision made by the Indian government. How to Update NSP Scholarship Biometric Authentication?
- Common Service Centre (CSC) VLE is responsible for conducting the camps in the institute in order to perform the biometric authentication of the pre-validated applicants. This will be conducted as per the text message sent to the students.
- Students will have to visit the official Institute with all of the documents mentioned above in order to successfully do their biometric Authentication.
- The officers will verify all the information that the applicants have submitted through the biometric authentication procedure.
- If the information provided by the Applicants matches with an entry in the NSP database, details of the Applicants will be returned to the NSP-BA utility which will be shown to the Applicants for confirmation, and then CSC VLE will take a live photograph of the Applicants.
- CSC VLE will perform biometric authentication for Applicants after successful validation.
- On successful biometric authentication data will be stored in the CSC database and the NSP portal will be updated with the success/failure of biometric authentication along with other transaction details.
