About TN Green Fellowship Programme 2024
TN Green Fellowship Program is an initiative of the chief minister of Tamilnadu. Under the scholarship program, the government is going to select 40 fellows. Fellows will have to work with district administration on all subjects that will be within the scope of the Department of Environment Climate Change and Forest. Additional Chief Secretary Supriya Sahu was issued a GO in this regard. The government has sanctioned 6 crore rupees for this fellowship program. Fellows who get selected will get a monthly stipend along with a travel allowance.

Objective Of TN Green Fellowship Programme
The major objective of environmental climate change and the forest Department behind starting this fellowship program is to encourage the youth to engage in environmental policy design and implementation. Fellows will monitor and evaluate the outcome communicate the impacts of policies and deliver better services.
Benefits/ Features Of TN Green Fellowship Programme
- Only 40 candidates will get selected for this fellowship program, one candidate for each district and to add state level.
- Fellows will be engaged for a period of two years to help the district administration in implementing the plastic band effectively, encourage the use of clothes back and promote equal alternatives
- Fellows will get a monthly stipend of rupees 60,000
- Along with the monthly stipend, fellows will also get a travel allowance of rupees 15000 per month
Selection Procedure
For this fellowship program selection of the candidates will be on the basis of interviews. The selection committee will select a total of 40 candidates for the fellowship program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen resident in Tamilnadu
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 30 years as of 1st May 2022
- The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe community people
- Applicants must hold a post-graduation degree preferably in life and environment science or MBA
- He/ She must have scored 60% marks at the post-graduation degree level
- Applicants must hold a minimum experience of 2 years with a degree in other fields
- Applicant must have knowledge of the Tamil language

Application Procedure Of Fellowship 2024
- To submit the application, you have to open the TN Green website of the Government of Telangana
- From the home page of the portal go to the GOs of Public Interest option
- Now, go to the Environment, Climate Change, and Forests Department and look for the notification
- Read the information available in the notice and follow the instructions
- Fill out the online application form with all the mandate details
- Upload the mandatory documents in the prescribed format
- Submit the application form after reviewing the details
- Take a print of it at last for further use
