TSDPL Silver Jubilee Scholarship 2024 was launched by Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited. The TSDPL Silver Jubilee scholarship was launched by the TATA organisation for people who are from financially unstable families. Under the scholarship, the selected candidates will get financial support so that they and continue their education without worrying about financial troubles. All the students pursuing a diploma, degree or any postgraduate course are eligible to apply for this scholarship. All the students who clear the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website. The preference for TSDPL Silver Jubilee scholarship will be given to given to girls, students with a physical disability, and those belonging to the SC/ST community.

Overview of TSDPL Silver Jubilee Scholarship

To help the financially unstable students and make them continue their education the TATA organization launched the TSDPL Silver Jubilee Scholarship. Financial assistance will be given to the selected students so that they can continue their education. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account. The students who belong to Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar, Pantnagar, Faridabad, Pune, Chennai, Tada, and Kolkata Are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The selected students for the TSDPL Silver Jubilee scholarship will get INR 1 lakh per month. Only the students who have scored more than 60% marks in the class 10th and class 12th examinations are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Objective of TSDPL Silver Jubilee Scholarship

The main objective of launching the TSDPL Silver Jubilee Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to financially backward students. This scholarship aims to increase the education rate among financially unstable students. With the help of this scholarship, students can achieve their dreams and pursue their careers without worrying about financial problems. All the students who live in Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar, Pantnagar, Faridabad, Pune, Chennai, Tada, and Kolkata are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The students who are pursuing an ITI/diploma, graduation or post-graduation degree in any of the specified fields will be given INR 1 lakh as a reward for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The scholarship is open for students who are domiciles in locations such as  Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar, Pantnagar, Faridabad, Pune, Chennai, Tada and Kolkata are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must be pursuing any year of ITI/diploma, graduation or post-graduation degree from government-recognized institutes in any of the following fields –
  • Nursing
  • Undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, etc. 
  • Postgraduate medical courses in any specialization 
  • Para-medical courses
  • ITI and diploma subjects such as fitter, electrical, welder, safety, etc. 
• The applicant must have scored more than 60% marks in the class 10th and class 12th examinations.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 5 lakhs per year.
• Children of employees of TSDPL and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.
• Preference is to be given to girls, students with a physical disability, and those belonging to the SC/ST community.
• Students who have performed in sports or any other extracurricular activities at the district/state/national level will also be given preference.
