International scholarships for undergraduate students

To provide financial assistance to all the students who want to pursue higher education abroad the University of Kent announced the launch of International scholarships for undergraduate students. All the students who want to pursue undergraduate degrees abroad are eligible to fill out the application form for International scholarships for undergraduate students. All the applicants who will get selected under the International scholarships for undergraduate students will get financial assistance of £18,000, £6000 per year for up to 3 years of study. and All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website before the last date 28 March 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have at least AAA at A level or equivalent overseas qualification.
• The applicants must submit a formal application for a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Kent, due to start in September 2024.
• The applicants must receive a formal offer of a place (conditional or unconditional) for their chosen programme of study.
• The applicants must not have to have accepted their offer to be eligible, however, students who have declined their offer or who have made Kent their insurance choice will not be considered.

British Council GREAT Scholarship

All the students who want to pursue a post-graduate degree in the UK can fill out the application form for the British Council GREAT Scholarship. The GREAT Scholarships programme is funded jointly by the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign, the British Council, and the University of Kent, as part of the Study UK campaign. With the help of this scholarship, the students will get financial assistance so that they can continue their education. The financial assistance of £10,000 will be given to the selected applicants under the University of Kent University of Kent. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website before the last date 26 April 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must be citizens of one of the program’s countries: China, Ghana, Greece, India, Kenya, Thailand or Turkey and be assessed as overseas fee payers.
• The applicants must have received a conditional offer for a full-time 12-month course at one of our UK campuses and have accepted this before the deadline date of 26 April 2024;
• The applicants must be starting their course in September 2024;
• The applicants must be active in the field with work experience or proven interest in the subject area;
• The applicants must be willing to embody the UK Higher Education experience, by attending lectures and tutorials and engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK HEI.
• The applicants must be willing to establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment.
• The applicants must be willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK.

India Women in Leadership Scholarship

To promote women empowerment and education among women the University of Kent launched the India Women in Leadership Scholarship. All the female citizens of India who want to pursue higher education abroad can avail the benefits India Women in Leadership Scholarship. All the applicants who will get selected for the scholarship will get 50% of the tuition fees for one year of study. With the help of this scholarship, the students did not have to worry about the fees of their college. All the female citizens who want to avail the benefits of this scholarship must fill out the application form before the last date 24 May 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to female students from, and domiciled in, India.
• The applicants must be shortlisted based on their academic performance.
• The applicants must have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time programme by the deadline* to be considered for the award.
• The applicants must be available for video interview, via Microsoft Teams, to be held in the week commencing 10 June 2024, the exact date to be confirmed, and this is subject to be changed.

International Scholarships for Taught Masters Students

All the students of India who want to pursue taught master’s degree abroad can avail the benefits of International Scholarships for Taught Masters’s Students. With the help of this scholarship, students can focus on their studies without worrying about financial troubles. All the applicants who will get selected for the International Scholarships for Taught Masters Students will get financial assistance of £6,000. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website before the last date 28 March 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must hold or be due to receive a UK First Class Honours degree or equivalent overseas qualification.
• The applicant must submit a formal application to the University of Kent for a full-time Taught Master’s programme of study.
• The applicant must receive a conditional or unconditional offer for their programme from the University of Kent, due to start in September 2024.
• The University must have received confirmation of the applicant’s acceptance of their offer.
• The applicant must offer to nationals of any country paying overseas fees.
