The Department of Science and Technology launched the WISE Fellowship for PhD (WISE-PhD) 2024. To help the female citizens of India who want to pursue PhD the Department of Science and Technology of India announces the launch of the WISE Fellowship for PhD (WISE-PhD) 2024. Fellowship is invited in mainly 5 subjects of basic and applied science. Eligibility Criteria

• Women who want to register themselves for a Ph.D. or are already registered for a PhD but not getting any fellowship are eligible
• The applicant should have an M. Sc./ M. Tech. or equivalent degree like B. Tech., M.Phil., M. Pharm. etc. in basic and applied sciences from a recognized University/ Institute.
• The age should be 27-45 years. However, there are 3 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
• The project is tenable for a maximum period of five (5) years or till submission of PhD thesis, whichever is earlier.

Stipend Details
