Jharkhand CM Fellowship 2024: Launched for PHD, M.Phil and Post Doctoral

Jharkhand CM Fellowship Was created by the Chief Minister of the Jharkhand state under which 100% free scholarship will be provided to the students who want to do research work abroad. 25 students from the scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, other backward classes, and minority communities will be selected for postgraduation courses from different universities in the United Kingdom. The chief minister has confirmed that the government will be working towards the development of this fellowship program very soon so that the students can continue their education without having to worry about the financial differences that they are currently going through. The fellowship program will only be available for students who are coming from the minority community. Launching of Jharkhand CM Fellowship 2024

The event was created by the Chief Minister of the Jharkhand state recently in which he updated about the fellowship program that will be available to the students belonging to the minority community. Previously the chief minister created an Overseas scholarship program for students coming from the scheduled tribe category. Students will be going to foreign universities in the United Kingdom in order to pursue PG degrees and continue their research work. The chief minister has said that around 75 lakh are provided to each beneficiary already and new scholarships are on the way. In order to get the benefit of the Jharkhand CM Fellowship students will have to first take admission to foreign Universities and confirm their admission.

Importance of Fellowship 

Sometimes students who belong to the minority community are not able to take part in research programs because research programs are very expensive. If you have been admitted to a foreign country then also you will not be able to afford the basic living expenses because they are huge. In order to provide opportunities to the students belonging to the minority community basic expenses are covered by the Jharkhand government. The government can provide up to rupees 75 lakh. Students will be able to use financial assistance to pay tuition fees and to pay rent in a foreign country. On each step taken by the student support will be provided by the Jharkhand government to create a state space.

Eligible course with Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be coming from the Jharkhand state.
• Students must belong to a minority community.
• Students must be willing to do Ph.D., M.Phil, and post-doctoral courses and would be able to enroll themselves in 100 foreign universities
• Students must be studying in a foreign university.

Selection Process

• Students will be selected on the basis of the eligibility criteria.
• You will have to appear for the interview round if directed by the school authorities.
• Students will be selected on the basis of the Income Certificate that they have submitted to apply for the scholarship.
• Preference will be given to the students coming from ST SC or OBC category. 

Important Dates 

• You must apply before the end of the academic year to get the benefit of this scholarship.

Jharkhand CM Fellowship 2024 Registration Process

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• The candidates will first have to visit the Jharkhand CM website by clicking on the link given here

• The home page will open on your screen.
• You have to click on the option called New Registration
• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• You have to click on the option called the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details, etc.
• Enter the captcha code 
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• You have to click on the option called Application Form
• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
• You have to click on the option called “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• You have to click on the option called “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
