Objective of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship

To provide scholarship opportunities to students who are interested in pursuing their careers in technology and digital space, the global Indian International School has launched Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship. Under this scholarship, monetary help will be provided to the students so that they can pursue their careers and the digital field. The main aim of launching this scholarship is to help students to get a better understanding of digital tools and make them a profession in their life at a very young age. All the student who clear the eligibility criteria can easily apply for this scholarship before the last date 30th April 2024.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship for Category A

Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have achieved a top 10 rank in the international science talent search examination 
• The candidate must have achieved first rank in teams at the ISRO space quiz 
• An applicant must have achieved first and second rank in the Raman Young Science Innovator award 
• An applicant must have achieved a first second and third rank in CSIR innovation awards for school children 
• The candidate must have achieved the first position in Singapore’s amazing flying Machine competition/ National robotics competition 
• Must have achieved the first position in the science and engineering fair
• The candidate must have achieved first position or winner of the Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors award 

Reward Details 

• The selected students will be rewarded with a 20% off tuition fee.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship for Category B

Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have achieved the third rank in the Raman Youngs Science Innovative Award. 
• An applicant must have achieved 4th and 5th rank in CSIR innovation awards for school children
• An applicant must have achieved third position in the National space security competition.
• The student must have achieved 11th to 28 rank for the National Science Talent Search examination.
• Also the candidate must have achieved second and third positions of Singapore amazing flying Machine competition/ National robotics competition 
• The candidate must have achieve second and third position in science and engineering fair 

Reward Details 

• The selected candidates will get 15% off in tuition fees

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship for Category C

Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have achieved top 10 rank at any international and National competition run by IT giants like Microsoft Google, Intel etc.
• An applicant must have achieved at least top 10 rank at international level robot Olympiad 
• The candidate must achieve 21 to 30 rank for National science talent search examination
• An applicant must have achieve top 10 rank at Kishore vaigyanik protsahan Yojana 

Reward Details 

• The selected candidates will be rewarded with a 10% off tuition fee.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship for Category D

Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have achieved top 10 international rank in SOF / STEM Olympic robotics and GK Olympiad 
• An applicant must have achieve top 5 rank in Sony creative science competition at Singapore 

Reward Details 

• The selected candidates will be rewarded with 6% off in tuition fee

Scholarship Disbursal Process

• The candidate must have represented at National or international or regional forums 
• An applicant must be a permanent resident of Singapore (PR/ Dependent Pass / student pass holders) 
• The candidate must have achieve at least 60% marks or above or equivalent grade in past 2 years 
• The candidate will have to go through one to one online interview 

Selection Process

• An applicant must fill out the application form to be selected under this scholarship.
• The candidate must have uploaded all the prerequisite documents with the application form. 
• After that the candidate will go through one to one interview process
• After that the institution will approve the scholarship and intimation 
• The selected candidates will be notified by email within 4 weeks time.
