About NMMS Exam Date 2023
The NMMS Exam Date is presented by the department of school education and literacy which is under the Government of India and these types of scholarships are provided to the students who are getting good marks in the class 8th examination. Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria must be followed by the candidates to apply for this scholarship:-
- The applicant must be studying in class 8 with 55% marks and must be registered to go to class 9th.
- The passing marks for the NMMS exam vary for different categories of students. The applicants must obtain at least 55% for the General category and 50% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH) (Class 7 final exam).
Documents Required
The following documents are required in order to successfully apply for the scholarship:-
- Class 7 marksheet of the student (only from government schools)(compulsory)
- Parent’s income certificate and caste certificate (applicable for SC/ST students only)
- Certificate of disability by a competent authority
- Signature/thumbprint of applicant and parents
- Required documents with the institution’s chief signatory
Application Fee
The applicant will have to pay application fees of Rs 50 to 100 depending upon the state.
