About Odisha Scholarship Portal 2023
Chief Minister of Odisha state Naveen Patnaik launched a state scholarship portal to help students in applying for the schemes of different departments. There are 8 departments including Agriculture & F.E Department, Higher Education Department, and Labour & ESI Department Providing 21 schemes to the SC/ ST/ OBC category students. All those students who desire to complete their studies but face financial crises will be benefited from these schemes.

Odisha Scholarship Latest Updates
The Odisha Government has increased the award details in the pre-matric scholarship for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students. The students will be provided Rs 950 for male candidates and Rs 1000 for female candidates now after the enhancement. Previously, the award was 750 Rupees for boys and 800 Rupees for girls. The Odisha Government provides the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe scholarship program as one of the main flagship schemes of the government. The scholarship is maintained to help the students with mess management in the hostels and also to develop the ST and SC candidates. Food items based on millet will also be introduced to the hostel menu to address the nutritional security of the students.
Implementation Of Odisha Scholarship
The scheme will be benefiting more than 500000 SC and SC candidates and Rupees 490 crores will be incurred annually towards the pre-matric scholarship implementation. The Chief Minister also suggested the other ministers tour the city and reach out to the maximum number of people to strengthen the government. The Chief Minister also conducted a meeting. 21 ministers took oath in Naveen Patnaik’s cabinet on Sunday with 5 women ministers. During the meeting, the Chief Minister added one more ‘T’ to the ‘mantra’ of 5 Ts which include Team Work, Technology, Transparency, Transformation, and Time Limit with ‘Tour’ being the latest addition. The CM asked his Ministers to work for the benefit of the people, visit every district, block, and gram panchayat and spend more time with the people and make efforts to fulfill all the promises.

Procedure To Apply Online for Odisha Scholarship
- To apply for the scholarship, you should go to the official website of the state scholarship portal, government of Odisha
- Choose Apply scholarship option and choose which scholarship you desire to apply
- Hit Apply button and the login window will open on the screen
- If you are already registered with the portal then enter the login details
- If not registered before hit register here option
- Read the information that appears on the screen, tick the checkbox, and select I agree on button
- Enter the Aadhaar card number, choose to verify option, and complete the verification
- Now enter the name, DOB, gender, Mobile number, and other details as asked on the screen
- Hit the register button and then fill out the application form that appears on the screen
