Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students

Eligibility Criteria 

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the various scholarship schemes:-

2.KVPY – Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan YojanaClass 11 & 12 students or 2nd-year students are studying in Cambridge International Exam Board with at least 75% marks in Maths & Science subjects in class 10th board exam; students studying in 1st year of B.Sc/BS/B.Stat/B. Math or Integrated M.Sc, MS of Basic Science related subjects with a score of at least 60% marks in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology in class 12 board exam; SC/ST/PWD candidates are given a relaxation of 10% in marks

4.NEC Scholarship – Merit Scholarship, TripuraApplicant must be a permanent resident of Tripura and must have scored a minimum of 70% marks (60% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the last qualifying exam for diploma/degree/PG/M. Phil and Ph.D. courses, annual family income must not exceed INR 4.5 Lakh, must not be in receipt of any other scholarship
5.Medhabruti ScholarshipApplicants must be residents of Odisha, must have scored at least 60% marks in the last exam appeared, and annual family income must not be more than INR 6 Lakh.
6.Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means ScholarshipApplicant must be a domicile of West Bengal and studying in West Bengal, candidate at higher secondary/diploma/UG level must have scored at least 75% marks in class 10 & 12 respectively, the applicant at PG level must have scored at least 53% marks in graduation in case of general education or 55% marks in case of engineering, annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
7.UGC Merit Scholarship – Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders PG Scholarships for Professional Courses1st or 2nd rank holders at UG level must be enrolled in a full-time PG programme, must have done graduation in Life Sciences/Physical Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Earth Sciences/Mathematical Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Languages, must not be above 30 years in age

7.North South Foundation (NSF) ScholarshipStudents among the top 100% in class 10 & 12 & CET/JET ranking in their respective states, must have taken admission into a professional course like Engineering, Medical, Dental, Polytechnic, B.Sc (Agriculture), B.V.Sc, etc., of a government or government-aided college, the annual family income must not exceed INR 90,000
8.Sumedha Scholarship – Yashad-Sumedha ScholarshipStudents must be studying in the 1st semester of B.Tech. degree of a government college must be the permanent residents of Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, and Ajmer districts of Rajasthan, must have secured at least 75% marks in senior secondary exam, annual family income must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.
9.IndusInd Foundation Merit-cum-Means ScholarshipStudents who have passed class 12 in the current academic year with a minimum of 85% marks (aggregate), must have taken admitted in a regular degree course of a recognized university in India
10.Baba Gurbachan Singh ScholarshipApplicants with 60% or above marks in class 10 or 12, must be studying in 1st year of diploma/degree course, annual family income must not exceed INR 3.5 Lakh, and applicants can be regular or correspondent students. Note: Needy students with less than 60% marks can be considered for the scholarship in case of special circumstances.

12.SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS)Girl students studying in classes 1 to 10 with a score of 60% or equivalent in the previous class, must have a family income of INR 15,000 per month

16.L’Oréal India ScholarshipGirl applicants who have passed class 12 from the Science stream with at least 85% marks in PCB/PCM have taken admission to a graduate programme in the current academic year, are not more than 19 years of age, and have not more than INR 4 Lakh as annual family income
17.GP Birla ScholarshipApplicants must be a domicile of West Bengal, must have passed class 12 with at least 80% marks from the state board or 85% from CBSE, and must be continuing studies in any of the streams like humanities, science, medicine, and several others from a recognized college/university.
18.Bighelp Merit ScholarshipClass 10 passed applicants with at least 98% marks or 9.8 GPA, must have studied at a government/municipal/Zilla Parishad school, annual family income must not be more than INR 1 Lakh, must not hold agricultural land more than 1 Acre
19.SRM ScholarshipStudents must have passed class 12 in the current academic year, be applying for UG courses in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) and the School of Liberal Arts and Basic Sciences (SLABS) of SRM University, have scored 60% marks in PCM (if applying for SEAS) or 60% average (if using for SLABS), annual family income must not exceed INR 4 Lakh.
20.RGIPT M.Tech FellowshipApplicants with a 4-year B.Tech or B.E degree in Petroleum Engineering with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% or 5.5 CPI in case of SC/ST), must have qualified GATE exam
21.Debesh-Kamal ScholarshipsApplicant must have first-class marks at the postgraduate level, must not be more than 30 years of age at the time of applying for the scholarship, area of study could be Humanities and Basic Sciences or other disciplines such as social sciences and applied science and technology

24.DLF Foundation Scholarship – Nurturing Talent ProgrammeApplicants must be in a domicile of Gurugram, have scored at least 80% marks in the class 5 exam, and belong to an underprivileged family, 1 child per family can avail of this scholarship

26.Schindler Igniting Minds ScholarshipApplicants must be studying ITI diploma/polytechnic diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Electronics & Telecommunication, must have scored at least 65% aggregate in classes 10 & 12, and must have scored at least 75% marks in the previous exam in case the applicant is in 2nd or 3rd year of the diploma course, annual family income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh, must not be more than 20 years in age
27.Tata Housing ScholarshipGirl students with 50% marks in all qualifying exams, must be studying in the 2nd year of B.Tech/BE/B.Arch. degree, annual family income must not exceed INR 3 Lakh
28.Hindustan Times ScholarshipApplicants must be studying in classes 5 to 9, must belong to Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane regions of Maharashtra, Pune, Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali, and must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the final exam.
29.Marubeni ScholarshipApplicants with more than 75% marks in the class 12 board exam, must be studying in the 1st year of a full-time undergraduate/professional/technical course, must belong to Punjab or Chandigarh, and must not be getting any other scholarship whose amount is more than INR 6,000 per annum, annual family income must not be more than INR 2 Lakh.

The applicant must follow the following application procedure to apply for the various scholarship scheme:-

  • You will first have to visit this scholarship scheme that you are interested in.
  • You need to read the details of the scholarship opportunity displayed on the home page of the website.
  • You have to take admission to the course that you are interested in before applying for the scholarship.
  • Sometimes you can apply for this scholarship automatically after you have filled out the application form for admission.
  • You must fill out the application form with essential details and apply for the scholarship.
  • Take a printout of the duly filled application form.

  • You have to click on the option called New Registration

  • Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details, etc.
